What is the Xi Wang Gala?
Xī wàng 希望 means “Hope”. This annual gala and auction began in 2011 when our founders raised money to start our charter school. Every year since, the Xi Wang Gala has been Hope’s largest annual fundraiser, helping ensure the financial stability and future of our nationally recognized Chinese immersion program.

What makes the Xi Wang Gala a success every year are the donated prizes and experiences from our Hope community! We need your help again this year to make sure we have amazing online auction prizes and Live Auction prizes.

You can also get creative!
We’ve had donations for Estate Planning or SAT Coaching services, 4 hours of childcare, a private chef experience, you name it! Services make unique auction prizes! If you have an idea, email us at gala {at} hopeccs.org!
Gift Your Spot: A popular option!
Let someone else take your spot at a game, concert, vacation home, etc. Or maybe you have season tickets to spare or unused air miles? These are always popular auction items.
Host An Event
If you can host an event or offer a class or an experience, we can auction that off or sell a limited number of tickets! Click here for an explanation on how to offer an experience. You could offer a lesson for students of a certain age rage or host a wine tasting event for adults only. You can choose how it will look and when it will be!
Ask Around
Prizes like VIP Passes to big events, signed books from famous authors or brunch with a local celebrity would get a wider audience of people to join in the auction and support our school.

Different and interesting auction prizes are a fun incentive to encourage everyone to support our school and ensure we cover our operating expenses each year. We still have over $300K to raise this school year to reach our goal.
