Volunteer Sign-Up Information
If you plan to volunteer at HCCS, you will need to complete the following steps first:
- Fill out the volunteer background check form (background checks must be renewed every two years)
- Complete the Sexual Misconduct Online Training and email your certificate to [email protected]
- Will you be volunteering in the lunch room/cafeteria? You will need to apply for a valid food handling license HERE.
The State of Oregon requires every food service worker involved in public food handling and preparation to get a certified food handlers card. The food handlers card is valid for 3 years, and you will need to submit a copy to [email protected]
When you arrive to volunteer at the school, please be sure to:
- Please park in the preschool parking lot only. All numbered parking spaces are reserved for staff. If the preschool lot is full, street parking is available. Thank you!
- Sign-in at the front desk for your volunteer activity.
- Wear a volunteer badge at all times.
- Return your volunteer badge when you are leaving.
- Sign-out at the front desk at the end of your volunteer activity.
