Exciting news! Hope Chinese Charter School has been awarded a $1,000 grant through the Explore.Act.Tell. (E.A.T.) program, sponsored by the Foundation for Impact on Literacy and Learning (FILL) and Albertsons Companies Foundation’s Nourishing Neighbors! 🌱🥦
Our students are using these funds to combat local food insecurity through hands-on sustainability and education. Project highlights include:
- 🪴 School gardens & hydroponic growing systems
- 🍳 Cooking lessons using our fresh garden harvest
- 🪴 A community seed library to encourage sustainable food production
We are so proud of our students for stepping up as community leaders and learning how to build lasting solutions to hunger.
