As Hope Chinese Charter School begins our 13th year, we are thrilled to welcome Marilyn Mi as our new Head of School!
“It is with great joy and excitement that we introduce Marilyn Mi as our newest addition to the HCCS family. I am inspired by her passion for fostering cultural understanding and academic growth,” said Corene Pettit, Hope Board Chair. “With her leadership, I am confident that our school will reach new heights and create lasting memories for our students. Welcome, Marilyn, to our community of learning and enrichment!”
Ms. Marilyn Mi has a strong commitment and background in education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering as well as a Master’s degree in both Education and Educational Leadership. She is a nationally recognized leader in language education. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Principal in the North Clackamas School District. Ms. Mi speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
Outside of her educational career, she and her husband enjoy wandering the Oregon coast. They can often be found on mountain bikes or hiking, discovering the natural beauty of our area. Marilyn enjoys ballet and musical performances. Her adult son lives in the Pacific Northwest.
